Each time you purchase from Finchitua you help preserve the traditional Habesha art form while providing better income that allows for improved healthcare, education and nutrition for their families. 

The name Finchitua derives from the Ethiopian word ‘finchit’ which means ‘the girl with a gap between her teeth’ - like our goal for the label, a ‘finchit’ is unique, distinctly African and seen by many as a mark of beauty for the bearer. Read more...
